Were's a Wolf? Chapter 16I didn’t have to look at Bobby or Megan’s face to know that we shared the same look of terror as our gazes darted from one werewolf to the next as the five large werewolves began to inch a bit closer towards the us. The moon slipped behind a cloud casting a dark menacing shadow over the three of us, and Megan muttered that she could see the werewolves’ eyes beginning to glow as they inched even closer. Were's a Wolf? “Uh Whit, what are we supposed to do?” Bobby muttered quietly as he tried to back even further into my and Megan’s back.
“I don’t know Bobby; Megan do you have any ideas?” I stammered as I clasped a hand of each of theirs in mine.
While she didn’t say a thing, I was certain that she had shook her head by the feeling of movement of her body against me; either that, or she was getting ready to break down.
The female werewolf had inched a little closer than the other four, as her green eyes were slightly visible e
Were's a Wolf? Chapter 15I should have ran back to Bobby’s house, but instead, I kept looking down at the tuft of fur in my hand as I examined it carefully. It was hard to be sure what color it was in the pale moonlight, but I was certain that I could detect a slight odor from it, and I knew that I had a scent to work with. This would be a lot easier than what we had planned before, and it would make thing a little easier to quell Bobby’s mom as I was certain she’d be fuming by the time I got back. Were's a Wolf? Oh great! Bobby’s mom! With that thought, I didn’t hesitate to shove the tuft of dark fur into my pocket, and broke out in a dead sprint the last half block to Bobby’s house. It was a little easier to sneak back in the house, rather than out like before. My dad was still chatting with Bobby’s mom in the living room as I carefully tiptoed around the corner; he was just saying how he should get going to make sure I got to bed at a reasonable
Sorry it's been a little bit since I've last updated. I am currently working on a new story, that's already 5 or 6 chapters long, depending on how I break it up. I don't want to tell you to much about it as it'll probably be a little bit before I post it. You're probably wondering why. Well I"ll tell you. I'm handwriting this one at work in my spare time, since it's easier to carry around a notepad vs. a laptop. I've already started taking time to type it up, but as usual with my longer stories, I don't want to post anything here until I have at least 2 or 3 chapters done. I will tell you that it's about a young woman just out of college that gets changed into a werewolf and struggles to deal with it, while trying to deal with a love triangle. It's been a fun story to write so far, and I've got plenty to keep on going for some time. I think this may be one of my longest stories yet, but we'll see what happens.
In other news.....
In regards to the friend situation. I really appreciate all of those that took time to offer advice. It really meant a lot to me. I finally confronted her politely as I could, which was pretty polite, and told her that I felt that she had abandoned me in my time of need even though i'd helped her. I then asked her if she still wanted to be a friend to me, and told her what a friend to me meant....which included spending time with and supporting them through life events. She said she still wants to be my friend. I then told her that actions speak louder then words, and i'll wait to see what happens to know if she still wants that friendship in her life. So we'll see what happens. So far, there haven't really been any changes in her behavior, but I know she's still dealing with a lot. You're welcome to offer any suggestions you'd like, or words of advice.
